Default Vortech help

Ok... this may be long but stay with me.... I installed my Vortech last weekend... you can see my mods in my sig.... Chris Macellaro with efi university tuned my car.... did a great job but because I was blowing oil out of my spark plug seals and smoking my belt we had to detune it in a sense.... he lowered my redline to 6k.... well I installed a catch can on each valve cover thinking it would relieve the pressure in the crank case...... after driving about 20 miles it is about 1/8 full on the passenger side and a little less on the driver side catch can..... the main problem I am having is that oil is blowing by all my plug gromets.... is this normal? if I just take my valve covers off, clean, rtv and reinstall will it fix the problem? The way I have my catch cans set up are.... On the drivers side (back port) I have the 5/8 line running to the catch can ... then to a main line I have attached to the Vortech filter then on the passenger side I have it coming from the PCV to the catch can then Tee'd into the same line going to the Vortech filter.... basically I have vaccume on both crank cases... Any advise would be appreciated.... My Vortech install has been a week long nightmare that just wont end...... I would like to actually be able to see all the potential of the 2.87 pulley but I am scared more stuff will mess up with the way things are going lol.... Also When do you know your belt is tight enough? I dont want to wear out my pulleys.....

I would connect the passenger side PCV to the intake manifold just like it is stock (and how Vortech recommends it), with the exception of having the catch can inline. I think you'll get a LOT more vacuum in the crankcase when not under boost vs. hooking both sides up to the vortech intake. And when under boost, you'll get the same amount of vacuum in the crankcase as your current setup provides.
