Stock injectors +Walbro 255 + UTEC & Vortech Stock boost= 100% duty cycle?
I searched all over a couple months ago before buying all the parts needed and read that stock injectors with a walbro 255 and utec under stock vortech boost would be at around 80-90% duty cycle and that there was no need for bigger injectors was the multiple consensus.
On the dyno around 5300RPM the injectors are maxing out. Is this typical? is there another UTEC setting that controls something that’s maxing them out? I never reset the factory ecu when I installed the walbro 255, should that matter since the utec takes over at boost point?
Any idea would be great.
Thanks.

What hp/tq were you making?
440cc should work nicely for your application. I would recommend deatschwerks injectors, as they are a direct drop-in stock replacement.

Good to know, maybe I'll sell them and get the DW's.
Thanks.

I have RC 650's and haven't had any issues. There are lots of others using them as well.

Whats hit or miss about them? I'll have to buy the clips, because I don't have them. Does that mean i'll be splicing the factory harness?
Damn what a pain this has become.

RC injectors are fine. Ppl say it's hit or miss are those who go >750CC injectors and try to go big whp.
U will have to buy clips to either splice into the oem harness or u can pay more to have plug and plug with no splicing.

I recently sold my rc650's to MR pharmD and they worked great for me no issues at all, and I am confident he will have the same success.
RC makes a great injector as does DW, I believe it is just preference

Thanks.

Yes, those are EV1 plugs and will need injector clips wired in. Stock 350z uses Nippon-Denso plugs.
