Default Boost leak test vid

Before I did this I searched everywhere online for a video of a boost leak test being done on a VQ with no luck . I have had this leak for weeks and could not find it till tonight. So here is a video I made tonight for the forum.
And I did use Aircraft gasket on the maf but I guess It didn't last. Tomorr.ow going to put pull the pipe off and put some RV gasket on it and retest it. I wanted to start at the turbo but didn't know it it was safe to pressurize and figured it would go out the exhaust correct me if I am wrong. Let me know if the vid doesn't work

Nice vid. Impressive~ :-)

So if you detect a small leak somewhere in the loop with this setup, but can't find the actual leak, what do you do? Run compressed smoke through it?

Soapy water and a windex bottle. Spray around the area and look for bubbles.

Today I put some Rv on the MAF housing let it dry for a hour. Then did a retest no leaks at all.Pressurized to 10psi turned off the air and regulator, 10 psi held solid. There was still aircraft gasket on the maf housing but I guess it didn't seal good.

Glad that you got it fixed. This is a better solution that will never leak.

Did you cut the tabs off the maf housing or is that a aftermarket maf?
