Default Whats my car worth ?

Thinking of selling the car as is , and Im wondering what its worth .Quick list of mods . You all probably know Ive un-installed the Vortech cog SC and sold it .
03 G35 coupe AT5 with less than 18,000 on the car
Full built SGP motor 8.5 to 1 ....CP's , Pauter rods , HKS head gaskets , ARP L19's , and every thing with teflon coating . 4000 miles
Nismo cams and heavy duty valve springs
AAM 2nd generation return fuel system [ no smell ]
850 Deatchworks injectors
Haltech EMS
dual Inovate wide bands , but only one gauge
Stillen headers
Stillen dual exhaust
Crawford HFC's
Crawford plenum
SGP valvebody
Edge Racing Trq converter
Tranny cooler
Slim dual radiator fans
Snow Performance W/M injection kit
Im sure I have forgotten a bunch more stuff

Car is by no means a show car . It has a couple very small dings and the aftermarket front bumper is scrapped on the front lip . The interior is in simular condition..it looks good but isnt perferct .
the only pics of it I could find at the moment .

Looking at Ebay Motors....a 03 stock G35 with low miles may go from $17,000 to $20,000 . What can I get for this thing ????

The front grill is now painted gloss black and looks great

It's worth the most amount of money that you can get someone to pay for it.

I'm not in the market for that car, but I suppose that a good starting price could be $20,000.

If you sell it to an enthusiast then maybe $23-25K.

If you sell it to anyone else then probably closer to $16K-18K. Keep in mind everyone else will want either the 7 year 100K warranty on their car to make it drive for quite a while longer and with the engine completely rebuilt that car is practically worthless to those kinds of folks.

It's going to be tough to sell anyone a low compression built and cammed motor and even tougher since the power it makes without that pretty supercharger on top is probably limited somewhat.

In addition, all G35 coupes have taken a huge hit since the G37 came out and that means you'll be competing with 2005/2006/2007 models that have the upgraded and much nicer interior.

I guess its going to come down to finding someone that wants to put a turbo on it to make good power . The $16 to $18 range is what I was thinking of off the top of my head .With things the way they are now , thats going to be even harder to find that person

Why not part it? At least take off stuff like the injection system.

Another thought: If it's only worth 16~18k, it might make more sense just to keep it...

There's been more than one time that I've owned a car that was worth much much more to me than it was to anyone else. Ride it out! Why do you need to sell?

Booger Id hate to see you leave the community. Be so helpful through the years. Id say try and stick it out for someone who wants to find a car thats perfect for boosting and make power. If you do decide to part it out. There are a couple things on the list I need. Goodluck bro. J

The biggest reason for not just keeping the car is the low mpg . Its only getting 16 -17 mpg

Is it because the fuel system or injectors? When Im driving normal (rarely...lol) I can get 25mpg out of the Z. Im averaging about 16-18 mpg when boosting.

sorry to hear about needing to sell the car. Despite whatever BS we'd ever argue and debate about, I don't think either of us wanted to see each other have to sell their car

gas prices suck, but they have improved (at least where I live) over the last few weeks. ($3.55 for 91 compared to $4.31 a few months ago)

It still sucks though to think that our cars that many of us want to hold on to forever and put so much work into are just going to end up being old relics where it's going to be expensive to keep running and buying fuel for

you're not in boost all the time with a SC either
what do people think? That SC cars drive around and sit at idle with a constant 8 psi?
