would like to see you race a 'Busa and embarass it! Watching that speedo go up freaks me out from my desk!
..but don't get it twisted, I would ABSOLUTELY go for a ride if offered...but if that thing time warps back to the future, I might get a bit anxious

I don't know alot about bikes, but aren't busa's supposed to hit somewhere close to 200mph....I thought I saw a vid of one doing 200

Yeah, they have a high top speed, but bikes aerodynamics are not like a car. I ran one a while ago on my old 19psi map and yeah I got beat, but wasnt near that bad and at around 140ish it stopped pulling. Berts car is making more then mine did, and if he has a higher psi map then I think it could be an interesting turn out.

a busa is a top end bike. My GSXR1000 would give it to a busa 0-100. After that it would leave me. Also dont the new busa's run 9 sec quarter miles?

The 2008 Busa in stock form runs a 9.85 @ 149 in the 1/4 mile

The 08 busas are a good bit different then the older models. Compression went up from 11:1 to 12.5:1 and also went up 40cc. I think a 80-170 race would be interesting with an OLDER busa or 1k bike.
