what an incvredible setup.

I'm not even sure if I could drive such a car.

Mine makes barely half of what yours does and I get scared going over 5000 RPM.

Glad to hear you got your car up and running to your liking Alberto. I know it can be frustrating when you can't enjoy your car for a long period of time. Now go out and enjoy it!!!!

EBC yellows work great, I've used them on quite a few track days. coming down from 150mph 15+ times in a row and still getting the ABS to kick in.. Cheap too.

Glad you're still in the game...I was in the same boat last year with my power issues. I'm glad I stuck with it too and will probably be adding cams/haltech/meth this winter.

How the hell do you hook in second on street tires????

I'm running 295 BFG DRs with .5 degree of negative camber in the back and with 520whp I can leave two black strips on the pavement in second gear.

suspension , that also makes a difference in traction.. Im sure Alberto feathers some of the power at 700whp in 2nd gear. Hey.. or maybe not correct me if im wrong, but!... The drive also makes a big difference.

My suspension IS setup for traction. Hence only a half degree of negative camber. He said WOT. WOT is not feathering. Alberto and I can both "drive".

Thinking more about it, I've got a ton of midrange torque since I still have the stock cams. His BC stage 3s probably make for better traction when you get into the gas.

the shift in the powerband could make a difference I am sure.

You are correct, the BC3's adjusted the powerband up, and it made a huge difference in traction. It was also the reason I felt originally that my car felt weak. My old powerband at 525whp would spin 3rd on anything other than good tires in good conditions. I picked the car up drove it on bald 285's at 650whp, hit it and it didnt even think about spinning. I was like wtf-this is weaksauce!?!

The car now has fresh 295/35's and 2nd gear hooks 80% of the time when its warm out. When it does spin it still moves though.

I run 255/35 fronts, but will soon be switching to 275/35 on the fronts. BTW, only -1 rear camber for me and STIFF 14/14k suspension-not ideal for dragging at all.

jeffie-where you moving to?

I wanna email Dynolab in GA, and have them send me my DJ files. Then I can overlap the BC3 vs S1 plots at 13psi. I have yet to see for myself what the true losses and gains are. I do know it makes more top end, and the TQ curve doesnt take an extreme dive after 4800rpm's. You guys know Im not big into dynos though so I havent really looked at them that closely

Thanks Jonny Boy!

I dont have anything set-up.I raced my friends new R6 from a 60mph roll (me in 3rd him in 2nd) and beat it in low boost. Other than doing that on video I dont have much around me-I try to stay away from the "scenes", too many idiots driving around can ruin your night/car quick.. Some Evo called me out through friends of friends, I didnt make it out the night they were meeting up my friend ran him on his bike and wasted him, it wouldnt have even been worth my gas lol.

I have a neighbor with a 550whp C6 Vette (S/C) but I dont think he has gone past 130mph, the guy thinks Im nuts.

lol, i see no one wants to run you. I guess your car is very popular around your parts. Anyhow, i hope you get some video's up sometime. Maybe you will be able to get some runs with the big dogs. Possibly some supras, c6 corvettes, etc that will give people a good idea how fast your car actually is which im sure its plenty fast.
