That's the spirit! We'll get you back up there one way or another......bring the bike?
That's because he's a crazy ****...
BTW, congrats on getting the car back. The FI section has been quite boring and stale lately without you and all the others.

Thanks buzz...
My brakes are toast btw, I did Motul fluid, Axxis ULT pads in the front, SS lines on all 4, and Stoptech slotted's in the front about 6-7000 miles ago, the stopping power is WEAK coming back from 150+mph once it slows down to about 100mph or so.
Can somebody recommend a good set of tested front/rear pads?
The rotors are soooo heat spotted I dont know if they are good, although I have no peddle vibration.

You need air ducting and bigger calipers (aka heat sinks) if you want consistent performance. Nissan engineers didn't have you in mind when they decided on those stock brakes!

Funny you should say that last part. Other than the TS front diffuser the body is stock, as I passed 159mph (limiter) I thought, "I hope they over-engineered the car for these speeds"
LMAO-the car felt stable as ever, I wouldnt hesitate to push more given the right conditions. Upon slowing down 130mph felt like I was home free and could get out and tie my shoes

I have a track model, so I have Brembo's. But even with the recent set-up on the brakes they are now being outhustled.

There are vids of a Z doing kind of a slalom at 160 mph with a Japanese guy driving on a track(engineer maybe?). it was designed for a 'flat ride' at all speeds. With that said...the speedo stops at 160....not sure if it was tested above that!!!!!
I think BamBam still has the record at 174 in the salt flats? I know Option had that crazy Z doing over 200 that ripped to shreds when the tire blew....it looked like an industrial accident when it was all over. Be careful buddy!

that video blows my mind. no need for dyno sheets other than as ****
I would think that your stock-ish body probably helps your stability and top speed, since so many body kits either create too much drag or downforce with all the vents, wings and lips, etc. the TS lip is not very aggressive and includes the undertray sculpting which helps and the stock bumper only has one narrow inlet (and your varis). I would think that a stock style canister would improve your stability even more. or a diffuser tray in the back. not that you need it with that power :P
glad to see everything worked out, and hope to see a post or thread about your decision to go with sleeves again.

Stock turbo's, now have around 12-13k miles on the kit, still running strong. I cant say enough about the Greddy kit, its sooo versatile, anything from 5.5psi - 700whp and its just awesome with the powerband it produces and it's reliable.

Congrats Alberto. that power and vid is just unreal. Enjoy the new power. Miss seeing the kill videos on youtube. If you bring that car down to Atlanta I know a few locals I would like to see get shut up by a 350z.

I am very happy I chose the Greddy set up. Seeing builds like this just reassure me that Ihave alot of room to grow with this kit.
