Default Deatschworks Fuel Injectors

We used 3.5 bar because we thought it would make thing easier since that is the stock fuel pressure, but it really caused more confusion.

Our line up now consists of all Denso injectors rated at 3bar

440cc
600cc
850cc

custom sizes also available

Hope this helps

APS are also rated at 3 BAR. So whatever the flow rate says is the who you can expect.

So the sumation for flow rates @ stock fuel pressure and what power you can expect....

APS: As Advertised
RC: As Advertised
Deatschwerks Denso Core NEW*: As Advertised
Deatschwerks OEM cores: 550 (480-500whp), 440 (380-400whp), 650 (580-600) approx. at stock fuel pressure.

JET

Are you saying that, OEM CORE 440cc DEATSCHWERKS INJECTORS WERE RATED @ 3.5 BARS.

APS has always been rated at 4 bar, if my memory is correct. Hence, their 880cc injectors were really closer to 750cc, and their 500cc injectors were closer to 440cc. Unless they recently switched to the industry standard 3 bar flow rating, I think they still "overrate" their injector flow rates.

DW, HKS, Denso, and RC are all true to industry standard.

that'swhat they are saying.

I have the OEM core Deatschwerks 550s. At 3 Bar, they flowed 500 cc/min.

so lets say since now they rate their cores @ 3bar.

Would that make their 600cc injectors in a APS kit which is 4bar closer to 700cc?

right. I don't know what the exact number would be, but it would probably be 700 cc/min or more at 4 bar.

Yup, just bought some OEM core 440's which will be more like 400. I might end up maxing them out pretty quickly :-/

You can use this fuel pressure correction calculator on our website.

http://www.deatschwerks.com/catalog/...alculators.php

To know the true "call size" of any brand injector you do need to know the testing pressure they are rated at. Common testing pressures are 3 bar, 4 bar, and 5 bar. 3 bar is the most common, or what can be called the industry standard (there really is no industry standard, we wish there was). More and more stock fuel systems are 4 and 5 bar, but 3 bar is still the standard.

But you also have to know what the fuel pressure your system is at. With the use of FMU's, return systems, upgraded fuel pumps, AFPR, and changes in rails and lines, an accurate fuel pressure gauge is very helpful.

/\ so what is the failure rate of Deatschwerks at 95% IDC? I've had mine for about 1 1/2 year and I have always been above 90% IDC. Granted I don't Redline everyday but I do spend a lot of time up there when I feel the need for speed.

It is not wise to run injectors at that high a duty cycle. The chances of something happening is slim but it is something to be concerned about.

Basically you are running the risk of 1 or more injectors going static.
