Default Does Injector Polarity Matter?

Just wanted to know if injector polarity matters on the Z.

I am putting RC injectors in my car and they have different connectors. I am soldering in the new connectors on the harness but wanted to know if polarity mattered. I would keep them all the same but just not sure if polarity matters?

If it does what side of the injectors is what on the RC and the stock injector.

Best bet is to check the polarity before you make the connections. i don't see why the wiring order would change on an injector if the connector was different, but better safe than sorry.

The fuel injectors are elctromagnetic solenoids so polarity shouldn't be an issue.

You can test them easy enough by quickly tapping the wires to the battery terminal - you should hear them click if they are energized. Try it both ways and see if you get the same results - you should.

KPierson is correct. Polarity does not matter.
