So I've just run into problem.

I am hoping it's not kit or tune related..

As I was driving home, noticed that whatever gear i'm in the car will start to stumble/shake a little and the RPM doesn't climb much higher. I'm thinking it's the clutch. Not sure at this moment though... I will have to take it out again.

Strange because it happened before, then it went away after a few minutes and my car drove normally. I'm hoping it's the clutch at this point.

Does it go away when you push the clutch pedal in? Usually if the clutch is slipping the rpms will climb fast but the car wont seem to go anywhere...

Stock clutch/flywheel..

This is a different problem I think.. the SES light comes on and then goes off what the heck?

The car feels like it has no power and I'm afraid to get on the accelerator.. The stuttering is just plain strange. I was reading something on here and people think that the engine is "misfiring"? I don't get it, I just got the car back last week and I put 100 miles on it :-(

Dave @ Function Tuned.

Yeah the car was running fine the day I got it. I doubt it's the tune.. or can it crop up ?

I didn't drive my car hard because it was cold on the ground.. I don't abuse my car this is so weird.

I thought it was the clutch but would the clutch trigger an SES and stuttering coming from a stop to a roll?

I find that after doing a full throttle run, I always have to hold back on jerking it. I just get so damn worked up and happy I just sometimes can't help myself!

as far as the stumble, I bet it's happening right as you start to go from - boost to + boost, it's as if the car doesn't want to go like it's not getting gas but as soon as you mash the throttle it works fine right? Utec.... Dave might beable to clean up that part of the rpm range to smooth it out a bit.

BTW Traction Control? hahahaha I can't believe you had that on.

something to check also would be the BOV spring..mine was shipped with the wrong one. I found the 9lbs spring to be the only one to work properly. At idle the BOV should be fully open. If its not bleeding off pressure it could be causing a problem too.

Alright guys here's an update.

I just took the car back to Dave who checked for leak's and found none.

Next he drove the car only to find out that there was a "Rattle" coming from somewhere underneath the car and the car not boosting properly.
Next, he hooked up some software to look at the car's vitals and found out that Cylinder #5 was not firing.

It smelt VERY rich.. like pure gasoline..

We are assuming at first that it's not the injector since the fuel smell is so strong.

I'm hoping that it's just a bad spark plug (Brand new.. but bad?)

He will do a compression test when he gets to my car on that cylinder.

Stay tuned. This sucks. ***.

Yes I DIY'ed the spark plugs and injectors...

I did not drop either the spark plugs or injectors while installing them. Not saying that they're in perfect working condition.. but at least we can cross out those possibilities. I'm guessing Dave will swap the coil packs out and see what happens to try and cancel out the possibility of a bad pack.

How much are coil packs anyways?

And yes,, I will update this thread as I get more info.

New coil packs from Nissan are ~90-100$, used they can be had for ~$40
