You need a better tuner. Reflash's suck get a real EMS and re-tune it. Reflash are only good to scale injectors , raising idle, and speed limiter removal, IMO.

If you want more power out of your TN kit. SFR T-67 Single turbo system-Interest?
Supposedly the tuner I took it to is the best, blah blah blah.... so I dont know what else to do. The dude at the shop convinced me to go with their reflash because its less work (dont have to splice into the wires), cause I still have a greddy e-manage blue laying around my house somewhere.
The thing is, they could have gotten more power out of my car, but they said that it was not running "consistently", so they left it at that. I would post my dyno but I dont want to hi-jack the thread...

I have the vortech, also it's carb certified, so no worries about here in CA when it comes to the smog checks either. Plenty of hp for me, I do not boost, and I have the NISMO Headers, and NISMO Catback Exhaust also. It's runs smooth and good gas mileage. No lights, no problems, just like stock, smooth as a hot knife through soft butter. Love it on the hwy too.

thanks for more vortech input, seems legit as far as passing emissions and all those tests, but will it when using 2.87 pulley, bigger injectors and utec tune or only with the 3.12 with fmu and ss box

I have the JWT Clutch, JWT Flywheel, and JWT Cams. I can't answer the question about the pulley, as here in CA, if it's visible, they they'll see it on the smog check and they will required it removed. But, check out the ZCarGarage.com website, as Rob can help you out. He's also the shop that did my setup, among many more, and has been in mod magazines for jobs on cars he's done, not to mention his own being in the mags also. His shop and GTM (Motorsports) have done many Z's & G's FI here in CA. Also Forged Internal in Marrieta, GA is another good source to get answers. Good Luck on your decision. W-

Thanks. Right now I can only afford a Single Turbo/Supercharger and a built motor or twin turbos on the stock block; and my tranny will not be built in either case (will limit me even more). Decisions, Decisions...

Me and my mechanic had both setups. I had the Tnetics and he had the Vortech. Both are very good daily, the only complaint he had was the noise. The Tnetics is very stock sounding under boost. We both ran our setups for about 2years as daily drivers with no problems. Just keep an eye on the pipes and check seals. Goodluck
