Default APS Single Turbo Question

Hey guys I'm looking to be pushing 400+ hp and im pretty sure this kit is capable, but the only thing im concerned about is lag, is there anyone running this kit that can tell me how much lag there is and what set up they are running (boost pressure, etc).

lag as compared to...?

The stock APS ST kit spools up rather quickly, full boost around 3500 or so at 9psi IIRC.

Start making changes and you may observe a delay in spool time (i.e., my upgraded housing on my APS ST finds full spool around 4500 or so @ 14psi).

it is def. possible to hit 400 on a dyno jet with roughly 10psi with the kit, i think with built motor and jacked up boost you can hit 500 with stock turbo but the efficancy drops rapidly and it is worth the extra $$$ for the gtm upgrade. but 400 isnt unusual, i probably am a little shy of it on a dynojet, i make 372 @9psi on a dynodynamics and it spools rather quickly(before 4k)

400 is doable... Many happy owners with single turbo, the lag isnt to bad IMO...

Dont get wrapped up with number..
