Default Vortech oil drain

The used kit I picked up did not come with the fitting that you screw into the oil pan after you tap it. Is it just a standard pipe thread with a AN fitting on the other end? I just picked one up from a local performance place.

From the Vortech parts list...

7P375-017 3/8"NPT x 1/2" BEADED HSE BRB 1

I believe 1/2" is -10 AN. But yes, if you haven't already, you should be able to find that at a local hardware store.

for stock, no AN, just a flared end. you slip the tube onto it and use a hose clamp.

AN fittings on both ends are nicer though. Athough, if you have to take them apart, it will be easy to spin the fitting in the block if you arent careful.
