what is going on here.... ?


ok, to everyone that has been here since day one. thanks. yes , i started with no money. i worked my *** off. we had cars with issues along the way. i fixed them ALL for free. i learned a lot. i got in over my head. i had WAY too much overhead. i wasnt arrogant, i was competitive. i love tuning cars. i love driving. these are all facts. we built some really fast cars. we did some crazy new things. we still hold 10 out of the top 30 fastest Z times.

you cant take that away.


one thing i have learned along the way is you cant make 100% of the people happy 100% of the time. for those 10 happy customers, the one unhappy one is the person going to post up and talk bad about you. i have probably months into trying to fix issues for free along the way. every shop has them, they all do. i tried my best to do everything i possibly could. due to some financial issues, i am shutting my shop down. i never had any financial backers, i never had a rich dad, i never had any extra money other than money hard work got me along the way. i tried to start with nothing and mold it into an empire, just didnt work out the way i planned.

on a personal note, i am a VERY honest, stand up guy. i tell it how it is and never ever tried to take advantage of any situation. i would give my shirt off my back to someone as long as they were cool with me. i should have stood my ground more and charged a million more dollars to customers. maybe then i would still be in business....

i am moving on, i suck at being a business man. i know i can tune cars and know how creative i can be. you will all see me very soon.


to doug, fu-ck off. you sit there only to instigate and start things to draw up internet forum drama. please, is this the best you could do with your life?

to nomyth, you had a -4 return line on your return fuel system. we tried and tried for hours to fix it or work around it but your fuel pressure was too high. the car wouldnt even idle right. i spent more than 5 or 6 hours on the car and tried to only charge you like 100 dollars. you didnt even pay that. you paid nothing. MAKE sure you introduce yourself to me next time we are at the same location.

to taurran, you and i have had our differences, we have spent many many many of free hours and dyno time on your car. i havent heard from you in a while but if you have had any issues, please text, IM, pm, or email me.


we have HUNDREDS of happy customers, we have built up an unstoppable reputation in under two years. i cant afford to stay in business. i am the first one to tell you that. i got too big, too fast.....

what i do have is my reputation, i have lost many nights of sleep cause of it and constantly have been told that i "care too much what people think about my shop"

please understand that when you guys are bashing me with only reasons you have heard through the internet grapevine, it is personally attacking my livelihood with no justification of doing so. if you have an issue. take it up with me. we will either work it out or you will have to start a thread saying "the owner of performance factory whooped my ***....."

My wife & I had a chat with you when we came down in june from Philly. (right before you painted the titan G35)Most shops would deter me from moddining my car & were trying to sell me 240's 350' skyline dreams...
When I asked your honest opinion, we exchanged info & you gave me some pointers on how to reach my goals with my PRESENT project car(95 nissan maxima).
Its obvious I plan to mod a z in the near future & its obvious I plan to ship it to whatever location you are...Nuff said.

Well considering its christmas, and a new year is coming i feel it is time to man up. I see my name was not on your list despite that huge pile of crap i have given you. All your work is top notch. its why i had my car toed to you. I appologise for teh decisions i made that in a accidental way was disrepectful to you. It is a fact that you do go over and beyond for your customers. When you were installing my kit there was a problem with my up pipe from what you told me. So free of charge you swapped out aj's up pipe for mine. ( This up pipe did in fact have a hole it in, might be why aj's made so much power ;-D)!!! For that i am greatful. Also the clip for the power steering cooler broke off and punctured a hole in my ac condenser. Free of charge Aj swapped out his own ac condenser out of his car and put it in mine. For that aj thank you. Ive spent lots and lots of money with you and im 100% glad i did because you deserve the business. With all this being said i do want to say that the car infact did make 408whp on the mustang dyno with no adjustments, but this was with meth and i belive around 17 degrees of timing. We made 513 with 18psi and like 19 degrees of timing with meth cp pistons crower rods. I actualy learned how to tune the utec a bit and i made 460 on around 14 or 15 only street tuning. reguardless ive learned alot and made an *** out of my self alot awell. Thank you Performance factory.

my next step is a ls2 swap ;-D

funny thing is you act exactly the same way you are saying i am. you are always talking about how great and fast your car is blah blah blah, yet you havent ever done anything with it. you are actually a lot more arrogant than i am. the difference between the two of us is that i dont sit behind a computer all day and i actually do something with the cars i build. you need to understand the difference in being competitive and being arrogant.


sit and say ALL that you would like doug, from an outsiders point of view, you are a instigating computer forum troll and i make things happen. you start stuff and then sit back and let it boil over from there and pretend you never did a thing.

i put the downfall of performance factory thread up to explain the situation. i am the most blunt, honest, upfront person you will ever meet. i have NOTHING to hide, nothing. you went and started talking a bunch of crap on it about topics you heard from julian , my competition. there is always 2 sides to every story. you can say all you would like cause at the end of the day, i will never effect your personal job or livelihood.

please feel free to continue wasting your life on internet forums while the rest of the world is actually doing something.

i got in over my head, yes
i had 14,000 dollars a month in overhead for 14 months straight, yes
i worked 80-100 hours for over a year straight, yes
we built some fast reliable cars that are still running strong after thousands and thousands of miles, yes
we had some issues, just like every shop, yes
we handled them and lost a lot more money, yes


i started a shop less than two years ago who put a major mark on the map,

F$%K yeah i did.....
