Anyone use these guys? Looks like they offer better bearings and seals?

Yeah I e-mailed them. They offer te seals or a entire rebuild kit. With the rebuild kit you can select the bearings and some offer higher RPM ratings. Wounder if this would help out some of the 2.87 pully guys.

i'm not sure if its just bearing limitations for rpms. i think that the impellers can only spin so fast before they warp and eat your blower as well.

vortech only charge 300$ or so for a rebuild.

vortech will charge 388.00 to replace bearings and seals.I delivered my blower in person since I live 3 miles from them;when I picked it up they said no charge

Thats why you get a 928M billet vortech impeller which can handle over 65,000 rpm's as a drop in. Not to mention, it has vanes that go all the way to the tips of the impeller unlike the SC-Trim.
