I am joining team at Altered Atmosphere
Hey guys,
I wanted to wait until I was at my new home for a few days and was comfortable with everything before I made this post. This post is to let everyone know I am joining the team at Altered Atmosphere Motorsports as the service/shop manager and to assist with tuning development. After going to and searching around at a few other major shops over the United States (I traveled all over), I decided that AAM was going to be my new home.
This shop is well known on the east coast. I’ve always heard really good things but I had to check it out for myself. When I got to Altered I was overwhelmed with the potential I saw possible. After getting to know the people who work here, I have already had many ideas of how to utilize their potential to bring you the latest and best products possible. I spoke with Mike and Clint at length and saw that they were understaffed and that help was badly needed in the shop. They needed someone capable who has experience running the shop part of a business.
(The above was typed my first day of work on Monday Jan 12th with my first impressions of AAM)
(Now jump ahead to Thursday Jan 15th)
During my first days at Altered this is what I see. With the resources I now have to utilize I see that more potential is here than I originally thought. We have an almost 15,000 square foot facility, a full in house engine CNC machining center (no other 350Z/G35/G37 shop in the country has the level of precision equipment we have and I’ve been to a lot of shops, we can laser scan a VQ engine and restore the block itself to blueprint specifications insanely sick stuff), a full CNC production machine shop, a fabrication center, and a Dynojet AWD dyno. We also have a lot of lifts, some really good technicians, two full time fabricators, a machinist, an engineer, and three people up front to help take phone calls, assist customers, and do sales. This is pretty much a dream shop and has all the recourses I wish I cold have had along the way at Performance Factory.
I am very happy to join the team here at Altered Atmosphere and this is going to be big. I assure you that you will see some of the nicest, well build, and strongest cars come out of this shop in the months to come. Stay tuned…

congrats! i have seen their website and noticed how well equipped they were for several years now... perhaps the combination will take you and them to the next level by giving you the tools and staff that you need to do what you are capable of, and giving them the tuner/tech/plus to bring it all together into a force to wrecken with.
shoot me a PM with your cell # would ya? havent caught up in a very long time.
