Default Powerlab ? (yes i did my search)

Sup guys, im new to this turbo thing so i have some questions about the PL kit that i didn"t find. First, after i buy the kit, there is anything i need to buy on the side, or is this pretty much a complete kit? or anything u guys think i should have? Second, i was looking on the 350zmod.com website and saw the GT37R turbo. Can i do this upgrade on a stock block? or is that to much? and is the GT37R upgrade worth it?

thanks in advance

There is the tuner kit, which has everything except injectors, fuel pump, and an EMS. Then the full kit with everything you need to get up and running. I think a 37R would be overkill on a stock block IMO. You can always upgrade later on if you decide to build the motor and reach higher power goals. I think the 35R is capable of around 600 hp.

he will be upgrading his internals later on but as of right now he want to know if the 37r turbo will be overkill for his stock block with some supporting mods that he will be ordering with it.

when you buy the kit the option for the 37r is 300$.. However if you just buy the 35r now, when you build you can send the turbo back to them and they will make it a
37r for 300$. I would just do the 35 right now like i did and be fully spooled on ur stock block by 3400rpm. The only other thing you would highly recomend is a boost gauge and a wide band which will only run you around 300$ extra. But the parts will add up quick....Turbo blanket, boost controler, clutch, TIRES, etc..

if you plan on upgrading your motor than its a great choice. it leaves you alot of room for growth and later on down the line the turbo size wont be a limiting factor as the gt35r is out of breath around 650ish. as long as you keep the power around 400whp on the stocker then youll be fine. what you need to buy depends on the kit your getting either the tuner version or the complete kit. you should buy the tuner version if you plan to upgrade later. that way you can run bigger injectors and a better ems suited for higher power.

stuff i would buy:
1. Tuner Kit
2. CJM Fuel Return
3. Clutch (double plate)/Flywheel - spend the money now and get it over with
4. Haltech w/ boost control EMS - again spend the money now and get it over with
5. 750cc Deastchwerks Injectors
6. Walbro 255 pump (upgrade to double pump later on as it wont run out of breath till around 600ish
7. greddy tt exhaust
8. boost gauge, a/f gauge
9. and wrap everything

the only thing is on the stock block you wont be utilizing the full potential of the turbo with a little extra lag vs gt35r but it will also bring your intake temps down and make it a little safer IIRC
