I am scared to do the polish thing because I dont want to take the chance and get leaks. If the cosworh was easy to get....I would take the chance.

I would love to be let loose on your engine bay with sand paper and a buffing wheel, get that timing cover and ALL of the aluminum polished up. It is super time consuming but it looks good and I find it relaxing but i like mindless work like that. However with your car i might refrain from polishing anything it looks like its all buisness when nothing is polished.

I am more into the dull look....I am just polishing the piping because they were custom made and will not look good in its natural state
I think if you left the mating ridge where the caps bolt to alone you would be fine I think they leak because the ones from cosworth have that lip polished as well and nothing can stick to it because its to slick just like putting silicone on glass it comes off easy.
