Sounds very smooth, considering the aggressive cams, injectors, ect.

I'm sure you can resell that GTM IC and brackets. If I could get a twin kit without an IC, i'd buy it!

In fact, I sold my Greddy I/C with my turbo kit, and Nate told me I should have kept it.

On the other hand, Sam is confident in the GTM I/C.
I just did some research to compare the GTM and Greddy intercoolers. The Greddy I/C is a "Tube and Fin" design. The GTM I/C is a "Bar and Plate" design. Here is what I found regarding the benefits and disadvantages of each:

TUBE AND FIN

Benefits:
low cost
low weight

Disadvantages:
"effective" lower efficiency compared to bar and plate
can be poor quality dependant on supplier
is a little more awkward to modify core size
some brands are plastic sealed at ends and have limits on welding techniques

BAR AND PLATE

Benefits:
35% greater heat sink capability (meaning you effectively COULD have a SMALLER intercooler when compared to the tube and fin)
Generally known as the "better product"
easy to modify size and re weld

Disadvantages:
weight
cost
some limitation in sizes

The tube and fin is a common everyday upgrade due to its low cost.
The bar and plate is far superior BUT it costs more.

Other websites I came accross said pretty much the same things.

^ I think the Greddy is also slightly bigger. Once heat soak sets in, I believe the tube and fin may have a slight advantage (going by memory) due to its better airflow capabilities *externally*. I think it'd be a toss up.

The GTM intercooler is bigger then the Greddy, more surface area. Large surface area and bar & plate is the best combo = GTM

Great progress Mike, you're almost there

I just had a random thought that might be fun for a joke when you do the high speed mile.... turn your left blinker on when you start and just leave it on the whole time

Can't wait to see you put down some serious powa!!! BTW. I saw the pic a few pages back and there is no way those cars are yours, they all look stock .

Mike, post or PM me the specs on that GTM IC, if its large enough (similar to APS Extreme IC) and you don't need it, I may take it off your hands.
