the Z/G has the possibility of matching the supra in the mile.

Would need to be doing what the sup's are though too, 9K+ rpm, prolly a 28in tire and prolly the 3.3FD on a 6spd though....you aren't gonna want to shift into 6th.

If you have a 3.3 rear diff, you would get dynoed in 4th instead of 5th. I barely even use 6th anymore, have to be cruising at least 80+mph or else the exhaust drone is crazy loud.

Its hard to say what appropriate traps for your build would be. The top 25 is basically 95% greddy kits, so not much to compare to. Your turbos are monsters compared to 18g's.

Hal has less than 100hp more and is going 14mph faster. I think mid 130s is prolly what a 600 hp car should be doing.

all I know now is that I trust a trap speed alot more than a dyno number

I was mainly referring to the powerlab/intense g35 that did 129 with 600ish whp

I am also still on the 3.5fd

SW's car is straight sick - real deal. Quickest 6-speed Supra in the world 7.98 backed up w/ 7.91. Rare too, as it's a hard top black-on-black. He also owns a UGR built TT Gallardo and a TT Ford GT, a couple R35's and others.. Dood's got hella huevos too, as he's always the pilot of his cars, whether drag or mile. I kinda thought he was gonna hang it up after going 240mph last year at the Mile, but adrenaline has that allure, now doesn't it?

It's rad to see a Japanese car hold it down out there and best even the TT exotics.

Yeah, I knew the black gallardo was his too.......I am always on supraforums, and he posts there fairly often. Our cars have nearly identical C/D as a wingless supra, but it will be a while before any z's can get close to them. 1500whp or more is going to be needed. I know that dude amit (sp?) ran his car to the tune of only 22x with almost 1650whp. I understood his car was having several issues. Too bad SW was also having problems or I think he would have gone 250-252. You wanna talk about the dudes with the large sacks................it's the two 35r busa's that went over 255

Also, I think the gallardo's will be the cars to beat next year......weren't there two that went over 235 this year? Those things were still full interior, ac, etc too from my understanding. It will be scary to see those things next year.
