Regarding the thread on g35driver... I don't see real drama or LULZ. I think folks are just perplexed by the 1300hp (your estimated crank horsepower I'm assuming) and the 12 second 1/4 mile time.

Hey they say Z/G's are the new supra's.......we just are keeping consistent

And don't let anyone tell ya that a 800+hp car on a street tire is "easy to drive in the 1/4"....these cars can be bears to get off the line......now I'll stand against any 12, 11, 10, and 9.5+ car on the highway!!!!!!!!

Believe me Tom... I get it. However, I completely understand how somebody who is unfamiliar with Mike or his G could have a WTF reaction to what's listed on his car domain page. Afterall, folks with 800+ horsepower (let alone 1300) typically don't run the 1/4 with anything less than an R compound tire.

That's why I will be running 28" tall ET Streets or full slicks for any 1/4 mile passes on my high boost setting.

good deal....the gearing help of the 28in tall tire alone will be a giant benefit.

What time tomorrow? I might be able to come by and check it out, if time permits.

...........I will leave Houston either at 9,10 or 11am on Friday....I want to get to FP before 2pm. It usually takes me less than 2hours to get there. ( By airplane..) Just had to say that to ward off any smartazz comments

Hope to see you there.

You guys over here understand how someone like me could pull some "fast"() 12's and 13's with an 800whp G....being a good road racer does not mean you can drag race as I found out ....I just said F@ck it and backed the car to the staging area and drove it to 160+

Drag racing is not easy with powa Yeah Eric...I ran it with the Yoka and the 20's...waste of time

on a well prepped track with heated tires at 12-14 psi, it should hold.

look at what those 10.5" class guys are doing (which is essentially a 275 series tire).
