2004 Nissan 350z TT Stroker Build
My Z car will reach the end of one chapter some time soon, and I wanted to share with this community!
I started this build almost four years ago. We started with a 2004 touring 350z with 8,000 miles and bought a second engine out of a car that had been torched. The process has taken me an extended period of time, and I likely would have picked an entirely different array of parts had they been available when I started. Having said that I hope that you all find something exciting about the car.
The engine build includes parts such as Brian Crower 4.15 Stroker with CP pistons and power enterprise crank, Darton Sleeves, ARP Main Studs, ERL 4 point Main Girdle, Rotating Assemby Balance, APS Extreme twin turbos (old school), CJM twin fuel pump, HKS 1000cc injectors, HKS FCON V PRO...
I had the car completely torn apart and a new Top Secret wide body / short nose added and a new paint job (changed from red to black with wet sanding and ArmorCoat™ the front bumper cover). A quaife differential, stage 5 half axles, and huge new custom wheels (12.5 x 20" rear; this was clearly for aesthetic purposes) were added to the list of goodies among a long list of others.
The car had most of the work completed by October of 2007 but was never completely "finished". Sharif originally tuned the car in October of 2007 at 555whp at 12 psi on 93 octane. The car was later tested on a Mustang Dyno at 565whp at 11 psi on 93 octane. The car will obviously do much more.
After running the car on the street and on the track I have brought the car back to Sharif to complete the car and tune. He will be finalizing the tune after installing the F-CON Navigator, replacing my head gasket, raplacing my injectors, rebuild and machining of engine, and replacement of my clutch in the near future.
I have enjoyed this community over the years and hope to meet some more of you along the way.
Sharif, fill in the blank from here.

Yes and Yes. The car tends to overheat. I've had fuel starvation problems under hard G's. I've blown head gasket at the track. It sure is fun blowing by Z06's at the track though. Sharif suggests I change the setup if I'm going to track the car. Right now I just want to go big----I've got another car for the track.
