No matter how fast that thing is, its still ugly as hell and I wouldnt drive it.

you don't get it...it has nothing to do with cosmetics,i would drive a honda fit if it ran 6.90's

this car is art,regardless of paint or panels

See the fricking Viper with twin 91's running 7.99 on pump gas at Hot rod's pump gas drags.........gawd (yes still the V10 but I believe with a glide in it, its an auto just can't remember which off top of my head)

ill take the fit over that car even if it ran 20 seconds ET. I like power but i have to drive in style too and deff dont need 2400hp lol.

 

this guy built a mechanical masterpiece,it does 159 in the 1/8th AND it's street legal. if you can't get behind that,then your definition of style is vastly different than mine.

As stated there is always something faster, nicer, etc.

IMO, the ideal car is a balanced car, that has it all looks, power, handling, creature comfort, etc - I think that is what most members on this forum are trying to accomplish.

I can appreciate all the work that has gone into that car, and 2,400hp is no joke, I am sure took a long time to develop a beast like that - it is truly a beautiful machine.

Rob Saboury has been around a long time. He was always a big name in the old NMCA Hot Rod Race series. Also, I see he's got a Mike Moran built motor......another guy from the old NMCA days.
That's quite a monster they have built.....especially on 93 octane!!!!

 

The vid with the Viper was nice. Its great to see how excited the driver got when he saw he was in the 7's - deep down, we are all just little kids playing with toy cars.
