Default Help with fuel

Well, i'm getting *** all help in the engine & drivetrain section, so maybe you guys can help.
I need to know the internal diameter of the rubber hose that comes off the front of the fuel damper on the engine. I'm not in the same country as my car, and i need to order a t-fitting for my fuel pressure gauge urgently.

Thanks

that hose is not rubber, it is teflon with a rubber coating. you can not professionally use hose clamps to clamp that hose onto a T. You have to use crimp fittings.

To answer your question, its more than likely 5/16

***.

I want to use the dynotune fitting, but they want to charge me 30 bucks to ship it to Spain, which is ridiculous when i had a set of spark plugs shipped for 7 bucks!!

Any ideas?

Hmm, Im not sure there is a good solution without having to ship something from the US... unless you have a friend with a CNC

The only other thing was to cut the main hardline that comes from the fuel tank, and fit a hydraulic pressure fitting there. Only problem would be that i would have to find the closest point to the engine to get an accurate reading on pressure drop.

I would go for the dynotune product. If we made that part at CJM we would want $65 for it, so it's a fair price shipped in the end. In their defense, shipping out of the country could call for an extra 10-15$ just in time since they will have to drive to the location to fill out custom forms and all.. Shipping that part will take a half hour of their time... I think it's reasonable or close enough to it?

Im on the fence about it. It's just the shipping. Pretty much everything on my car has come from the US, and i know how much stuff should cost. And this part definitely doesn't cost 30 bucks. I'll see what else i can find, and if not then i'll just have to bite the bullet.
