How would you experts build up a VQ35HR to get it ready for reliable boost?

Default How would you experts build up a VQ35HR to get it ready for reliable boost?

I'm sure it depends on power levels you're aiming for, so lets say 600rwhp.

Pistons, Rods, Valve springs, Injectors?

Are there even aftermarket components on sale for it yet?

Rods,pistons,headstuds,mainstuds,call it a day.

there is no such thing as reliable.. however to even get to 600 whp you will ned a built motor.. and yes you can get everything you need aftermarket

Yeah I looked at that. But that's gonna be a 4.2 liter engine.

All of the internals, rods, pistons, studs are the same on an HR as they are on the earlier engines. So everything is readily available. This Thread highlights a 3.5 L build we did last summer. Car makes 600+ on pump gas and over 750 on race gas.
