Default Z1 Motorsports: 763rwhp APS extreme TT VQ35

We recently finished a build and tuning on a customers 350Z with a APS Extreme Twin Turbo Kit and Z1 Motorsports built engine. The owner had a goal of 550rwhp on pump gas while maintaining driveability and reliability.

We choose the Haltech Platinum PNP EMS for the tuning and a Blitz I color for handling the boost. Well lets just say the Haltech was a great tuning tool.

Tuning started with the basemap that Hal at IP provided. After making some tweaks to the map Josh was able to tune the car to a conservative 600rwhp on pump gas.

93 octane dyno

After pouring in race fuel, increasing boost, and some tuning adjustments we were able to acheive an impressive 763 rwhp.

If any one has questions about the build or any the products used in the build let myself or John know and we'll be glad to answer them for you.

We are very proud of this build and the power this car made, especially considering that it is not a stroker engine and the car is very mild mannered and driveable even at this high of a power level.

The plans are to put this one back in the shop soon and install a Nitrous Xpress system on it and push it up and over 800. Should make for a fun dyno run.

How is the APS FRS handling the power? Any modifications to it needed?
