Default Custom Turbo Question

Okay so Im building a rear mount twin turbo for my car and have a question. I know the vortech kit comes with a fuel pump and FMU. I was wondering instead of getting upgraded injectors for my car, would it run fine if I just use those parts (fuel pump and FMU) from the kit. I heared from someone that the FMU is dying technology and that this setup wont run as well as injectors would. What do you think? Thanks.

Your stock injectors won't get you very far power-wise no matter what you use to tune it or send fuel to them.

Just get some 440cc injectors. They're a dime a dozen in the classifieds. I agree the stock injector won't get you far at all. Good luck with your build, and keep us updated.

Default i know this is an old thread but im just curious...

how do they get away with just using an fmu and bigger injectors don't you need some sort of ecu to fool the maf sensor so it doesn't see the boost? as well as for tuning purposes
