+2 on the intake! looks nice
nice car you got there. what are the things hanging off the front impact bar?
Is the power fluid cooler a custom relocation job or is that a change in the kit? looks nice.

Thanks for the compliments....Some answers to your questions
1. Installed a K&N breather filter on the driver's side valve cover and eliminated to spliced hose set-up to the air filter. Everything in this kit fits very tight, with minimal space. Routing a hose from the back of the valve cover to the front of the radiator support was just going to be another heartache I didn't want to deal with. Cost $22.00 from Summit Racing.
2. The CAI is a one-off made up of pieces from several vendors. 3.5" hump hose connector from Extreme PSI, polished aluminum elbow from Treadstone Performance, 45 degree EPDM elbow from Race Parts Solutions and a K&N filter from Summit Racing. Cost ~ $150
3. Adjustable strut rods off front bumper reinforcement are used to support/adjust front splitter.
4. Power steering cooler is OEM that was re-positioned. I didn't like the way Vortech instructs you to "sandwich" cooler between the radiator and intercooler. Formula for a disaster.

A couple of other things I would like to mention about the CAI and power steering cooler. I have an aftermarket front end, not the original bumper cover (see photo below). There is a lot of "open space" under my bumper for accessories.
In order for the air filter element to have adequate clearance, I needed to add a 3/4" aluminum spacer between the bumper bar and bracket on both sides.
The PS cooler brackets are a combination of the original equipment brackets that were modified and some aluminum angle.

You should remove this bracket, it will make your sweet looking CAI even more visible. You have me inspired to change to your design. I'm hoping I can cut mine down and buy a 45 degree bend and a narrow filter. What was the model # of K&N filter you have? I included a pic of my cai (looking at mine again here makes me think I'm not going to be able to re-use for this conversion so I might be selling it) but your whole setup makes mine look bland lol Sorry, don't mean to change the direction of your thread.

Winters in New England are very long and I need something to think about to chase away the cold dreary days....This was a weekend project that I would spend a few hours every Saturday working on. It dragged out waiting for parts and doing some custom fabrication work. I probably have a total of 40 hours into the project....15 hours doing the actual install and 25 hours thinking about how to do it.

The K&N filter is part # RU-5114 (Dimensions - 5" diameter x 5.625" long). A word of caution....If you want to replicate the set-up, you will need to install a 3/4" spacer between the bumper bar and bracket (I used a 3/4" thick piece of aluminum flat stock 3"x5"). The spacers need to be on both sides to provide adequate clearance, radius wise, for the air filter.

Removing the bracket would eliminate a support for the front bumper and even if it was removed, the elbow would be covered by the front bumper when installed.
