Question regarding modifying my intercooler Help
Guys im thinking of modifying my intercooler and redoing my intercooler piping. The question that i have is if i cut my intercooler inlet/outlet and reweld it with 90 degree elbows does it ruin or harms the intercooler in any way?

Why you want to do that?? can't you use a 90 degree silicone couplers?
if you have to cut/weld, i don't see any problems but hope you take it to really professional tho

As long as the welds are solid there is no problem with doing that. Also make sure that the intercooler is free of any debris or metal particles from cutting. Wouldn't want to have pieces of aluminum getting sucked through the system.
Thanks guys from what ive heard 90 degree couplers arnt the best for high PSI applications. But again ill look more into it since not everyone knows what they r talking about and like to give their opinions. especially on the street. i might just end up using couplers just have to see the fitment issue. Again thanks alot when im done ill be posting the before and after

Why don't you cut off the end tanks and weld on tanks that are designed to work with your new incoming/outgoing airflow direction.
