After I started her up today I noticed the blower made a louder than its usual grinding sound...I pulled on the blower (forward ) to see if it had any affect and surprisingly it did..Much quieter. Checked all mounting bolts to verify they were not loose. So I cut a piece of wood and wedged it so that the blower is pushed forward and now the blower is much quieter..Apparently the mounting plate is not quite aligned properly and pushing the whole assembly forward helped...Strange but true. Need to find a permanent fix.

you can always take that piece out and have it cut in alumnium or something then replace it.

Need a digi camera..Imagine approx. 5 in. X 3/4 dia. wedged between the back of the blower motor (around 1 pm) and up against the structure between the bracket for the stock air box and a cable run..Crazy but it eleminated the noise...

So you're basically pushing the whole bracket forward from behind (no pun)?
