Used Injectors... Clean them before Installing?
I have a set of 440cc that were previously used for around 5k miles. They look to be in great condition, but should they be cleaned in any special way before installing (besides wiping them down and lubing the orings)? If one of the injectors do not work, how would I be able to tell upon start up?

personally i would send them out and have them actually cleaned before installing them. I don't know the history on them, but i would never trust a used set of injectors in my engine w/ out having them cleaned and flow tested. As far as the o-rings before you put the intake back on turn the car to on (DO NOT TRY TO START IT you just want to prime the fuel pump) and look for leaks. You won't know if the intake side leaks until you actually have it all back together and start it up, then you can listen for signs of a vacuum leak. Most of the time if you have them cleaned, they will also include some new seals though.

Alright I'll be sending them out to have them tested and cleaned this week. I found a place that seems pretty reputable that does injectors for $18 each. Here's their site: http://www.witchhunter.com/
