I called the adjuster back last thurs about the bumper and skirts.. and he said he would forward me to a unit supervisor.. heard nothing friday, nothing today.. he isn't picking up his phone.. not sure if he is out for the holiday weekend or what, we will see how it goes.. They have done right by me in the past, so i can't even complain.. we shall see.. we shall see

i also bought some cheap rims of ebay today..

Ok finally heard back from the adjuster.. really feels like the body shop is trying to rape me in the as$..

first off .. they came back with my rims being valued at $279 / rim because they can get refurbrished rims.. when this guy just got $5300 from state farm https://my350z.com/forum/7203473-post52.html

second raping from the body shop.. so the adjuster calls me today and the body shop tells him they can't give him an estimate on my bumper and side skirts becaues they are aftermarket and they need something "else" to install them that was removed from the car.. WTF!!!! so he is going to go by my reciept for my body kit i gave him for $1,100 and then give me $500 for it. I said ok.. what about paint? he had no answer, so i said let me call the body shop and find out how much paint is.. call the body shop.. he tells me .. he couldn't value the oem bumper and sideskirts because something is missing for it because mine was aftermarket.. i told him that was bullsh!t .. anyway i asked about paint.. he said it would be $450 for paint on everything.. which i know is a low ball number because no good body shop is only charging $450 for paint.

I call back the adjuster and he said he will give me a check for $1,000 for replacement bumper/skirts + paint.. i said sure.. so its whatever now i guess.. i guess $1,000 is better than nothing

 

Sounds like insurance guy is burning you. I have statefarm been with them for 15 years. It might be worth a switch to statefarm. I totaled my 06 cbr 1k two days later they got me another one. And like u said 1k is better then nothing. I realy hope things go better for you.

 

ohh.... reason i ask is because my friends hummer got stolen out of the greenwhich train station one time and the cops said its not unusual because they can hop right on 95 and peace.....

Some body had to have been watching you to do that.
