Default ECU And Turbo Question

Hey guys. Have a question that is probably very obvious to those who've dwelled in the land of turbo-able cars. Sadly I am not one of those pivledged individuals . So here is my question. My 350 WILL be tuned for Forced Induction. From everything I know that means you don't go along the more aggressive route of N/A tuning such as lifted cams, port and polish, etc etc (Am I wrong?).

So since I have high hopes for my beloved 350 my question is this. When it comes to ECU tuning, my guess is that the products being released now work on the N/A specs of the stock car. Hence, if a Turbo kit is implemented, that mapping would most likely not be optimal to the performance of the turbo. So therefor buying an ECU upgrade would be a bit of a waste, since the ECU will need to be reformatted when I hook up the forced induction correct? Sorry about the most likely obvious question. There will be a few more coming. I am from the land of the E46 BMW, where having a free flow exhaust and a CAI is considered a good deal of work .

TechnoSquare has developed boost applications for their ECU reflash--

that is what i will be running for fuel management when the tt kits returns from japan.

yes. if you have an NA program on your Z, and then you boost it, you can have it reflashed for your FI, whether it be SC or TT....

Cheston:

Will the flash be the same for all FI Z's? Are you planning on a different flash for lets say ATI SC vs PE TT?
