The GSX, or the "red car" as I call it, has gone 10.7@144 in the 1/4th with a 7.2@107 1/8th, 2.0 60'.

At a different track I managed a 1.7 60' and went 6.85@113.9 in the 1/8th.

All on 215/45ZR17 Sumitomo HTR+ all season radials and 33psi of boost with E85 as fuel.

I'm looking for about 38psi of boost and high 9 sec passes at 150+ next time out. Then I'll put in the good fuel and turn it up, it will see 45+ psi of boost.

I find it way too easy to talk about the GSX.

Blinker, I'm about to read up about your GSX build. Do you have any video clips of your 1/4 passes? I'd love to see some of the Mayhem!

There should be a few in car and drive by vids posted in the build thread, none of any passes at the track.

Went through your build thread on the GSX. All I can say is wow. Congrats and I'm glad it's finally running right. Very nice build on the G35 as well.

GSX Thread reminds me of my own 350z build and stories of success followed by fail and rebuild, upgrades, over and over. But Damn!
Nice work re-wiring the entire car is no fun in anyone's book. Glad it all worked out.
Lets hope the G35 Project is much easier. Too much technology to just decide on a whim to re-wire the entire car. Good Luck. Please post your results.

Blinker, first of all, I love the video you posted. It really shows off how quiet and docile your car is until you get on it. That's what I'm going for with mine.

For someone with moderate fixer upper skill, strong work ethic, patience and creativity, how hard would you say this install can be? What if you didn't have access to lift the motor? Would it be even worth tackling?

Thanks.

Just installing the APS TT kit?

It wasn't that bad to install with the engine in the car, bolting the turbos to the manifolds made me want to dig my eyes out with a dull rusty spoon though, it was a pain but not impossible. I can't comment on any of the other kits on the market as I haven't installed them.

I would suggest removing the engine, it's much easier not only to put on, but to make sure all the fasteners are properly tightened and lines are routed correctly.

I like where you installed the boost gauge! Was it a problem installing?

Hey Jesse, I think I lost your phone number when I jailbroke my iPhone.

Send me a PM with your number. Maybe we can get you to join us during our next outing or autocross.

Thanks again guys.

It's just the standard APS kit, though it's the old version with the DBB turbos.
