Need opinions re SC purchase:

This thread is getting pointless... the OP needs to decide on the type of whp goal and driveability he wants to obtain from the supercharger. There will always be pros/cons about each setup and until he tells us what he expects to gain with FI, there is no soln.
If u do a little searching, u would dig up this thread: https://my350z.com/forum/shop-builds...non-revup.html where he made 38Xwhp on a DD so I doubt he has any issues or complaints with his vortech. I believe he was giving his opinion about choosing HKS if u were NOT going to keep the car or have any plans on upgrading the sc.
The search button is your friend and u should look up the different types of sc out there and then pick the best option that suits your driving habits.

Well if there is only two choice you gave us from first post. I don't see why not HKS. HKS makes less HP? but TQ can make you smilie on your face.
Price? if you have to add up couple more things in vortech list, it can be over than 7k, and HKS you can " try " ask more when you resell the kit in future.
Am i not happy with my vortech? No i'm happy with mine, enough power, enough torque for my DD.
I do agree with Mr_pharmD, our search isn't working, but you can go over G35driver.com, i've read many people posted similar question as yours ( Even CARB questions)

No problem, hope you find a right kit for your z.
And gauge, imo, most of important gauge are boost and A/F. Some SC owners doesn't even have one. If you add more gauges, it's just cost you more on labor/parts. ( it can be diff about 200~300 dollars )
Either way you choose, both of them are great kits.
