Ok, thats what I will do aswell. Do you happen to have any pics? How close are they to the radiator support? How did you know how far to shove them on? Or did you go so far then try to install and work it on until they would fit? These filters are special order so I wont get until Fri or Sat. I hope to get them on quickly! Thanks, Robert

Well I tried to instal the K&N RX-4960's and I cannot fit them in there! I didnt want to hurt the filters by shoe horning them in but it was clearly not in the cards for my car. I have to many other goodies in the way especially on the driverside. I am currently selling them on the regional Mid-A classified section at a great price if anyone is interested. I am going to try the smaller K&N's. But I want to sell the ones I have first. If anyone out there thinks they have the room and would like to get rid of the mushrooms of death these are the best filters K&N sells. Thanks for everyones input. Robert

I am going to try RX-4020-1 next! I still want the X-stream filter. They are only 4" long and only a 4" top dia. I want them but I need to sell the others first. I will do a fellow member a heck of a deal on them to get some green for the next ones. Anyone out there with no mods that want to get rid of the bad shrooms

Wow.. That looks as you must have cut piping right?? I mean i went all the way back but them filters were too big..... Ill be getting the other set tmrw overnighted.. Ill post pix of them.. Should be better..

I pulled the foam crap out.. I washed them but they didnt seem dirty on the inside at all.. The foam does look discolored in certain places not sure why... I measured the foam filters and its almost exact match to what i ordered... Cant wait!

I had to cut the piping on the drivers side to fit the AEM dryflows.
