Question Hiccup?

I thought it wasn't biggie deal, because it happend couple time after hard acceleration ( Not even hit redline) but when i talked with one of member here thru PM, it sounds like it's not normal. So I looked around and found one very similar issue like mine.

https://my350z.com/forum/forced-indu...-3rd-gear.html

Anyone having issue with vortech?

i have a Utec/600 injectors.

Thanks

Maybe running rich? I had the same problem as described above when I was running the TN re-flash (running rich). I took my car to GTM to get it properly tuned with UTEC and hiccup never came back. Car running strong with not a single hiccup incident after. G/L bro...

Pull some data logs from the UTEC and post them up.

just curious chef are u running 1 step cold ngk plugs? U need to do a log to see where ur afr's are. A log will tell u if its going rich in certain loads. If u need help setting up to log give me a call. And UTI is great software to log with the utec.

The running rich part I agree with ... could be dumping fuel off load for some reason which would cause your car to stumble. Do you have a fuel return setup?

I've got stock rails with my fuel return But, I'd certainly recommend a fuel return for a consistent (and predictable) fuel pressure across the RPM range. I'd be willing to bet your injectors are static open at higher RPM's due to lack of pressure.

I need a FRS myself, just going to wait till build. Don't want to pay for another tune quite yet. I'm running about 95% duty cycle on 600cc injectors some times. Not running meth anymore so dumping more fuel. A fuel return would be much better won't max out my injectors so quick.

No RFS, i'm trying to find a cable that i can connect from Utec to my laptop. But no luck best buy didn't have, i'm plan to stop by fry's tommorow see if they have any.

It happend two times, not all the times. My gauge shows my A/F dropped to 10~11, when i'm on hard acceleration.

Edit: Btw, off topic but i met my old boss today. That fa*ka bought a GTR...He gave me a ride...that thing was Fast...lol. And i liked to get an attention from young girls

I guess you could hit up UPREV in Austin as it would be cheaper than an F Con, and I loved how Osiris/Procharger ran.. Felt like a OEM charged car..

If you can get a log posted up we can fix it. For the wires if you can't find a usb. I used a regular old school 9 pin computer cable with a berklin usb adapter worked great.

could be anything really, you have to narrow it down. are you on stock spark plugs/gapped correctly, valve not seated properly, fuel delivery problem, tuning error, etc. post up a vid or something
