I too had a bad experience(s) with SGP. I have been a Forged customer for over 2 years now, and couldn't be happier. Grats on getting your car back up and running. You are in good hands now.

As a fellow SGP "screwee", I feel for your situation. I hope that serious consequences catch up with Mark Gust very soon. I'm glad IPP and Forged took care of you and that you are getting your car back soon.

My build project is on hold until I save up more money to pay for the rebuild of my "fully built SGP trans" with 0 miles on it.

Glad to hear you are being taken care of and +1 on the bad check. I'm guessing its in the thousands. That's easily a felony. You can make life VERY hard for Mark, and probably get your most if not all of your money back. He would have been better off telling you to shove it ... the bad check is just a giant nail in his coffin.

OH and +100 on Forged. I have heard nothing but good things about them and Sharif. One of my local car club members (Doug) is sending his G37 to Sharif for twins, it may be there already. I am extremely jealous and can't wait to see and ride in the finished product.

I called SGP once......asked them if they had ever done a hydraulic ebrake set up on a 350z before..........

They told me "Well, we charge 100 bucks/hr labor, so we can do it, but its your money and our time"

I was like "wait, so you have never done it before, can you give me a price for doing this? or is it just whoop-dee-doo, i get surprise bill at the end"

and the guy was like "yeah"

I hung up and never thought of calling them again....
