Poll: Stick with JWT C2's or go with Bigger Cams

I was even thinking of having the intake camshaft gears machined to allow me to retard them by 5-10 degrees in order to reduce the overlap, and then use the Osiris Tuner software to re-flash the ECU to advance the cams at the RPMs where needed.
Still, the C9's may sacrifice too much low-mid range torque, so the C8's may be the ticket if I change.
Sharif, what do you think about retarding the C9's and using the Osiris Tuner software to advance them where required?

The C2's will provide better low-mid RPM torque, while the C8's will provide better top end performance.
I don't want to give up too much low-mid RPM torque. However, I am increasing the stroke of my motor from 81.4mm to 90mm, which will increase my torque, though some of this increase may be offset by changing from the Greddy TD05H-18G turbos to the Garrett 3071 turbos (0.64 A/R).
Nonetheless, with my 3.5 L motor and the C2's, I was still getting some wheel spin in 3rd gear when the turbos fully spooled up (even with Toyo R888 305 tires on the back). Thus, some of the torque in the mid RPM range was unusable.
So, perhaps the C8's will open up the top end while not spinning the tires in 3rd gear... I'm thinking that with the C9's I will lose to much torque in the low-mid RPM range. Anyway, I'm still debating, but starting to lean again toward the C8's as a nice balance for this build.

The C8's are the only cam I've had with my build so I cant compare the mid range to anything else. But I do know that power up top is sick.
They do help me hook up, thats for sure. I can hook almost 100% in second gear with 600whp DD. Overall, I'm happy with them.

def. go bigger then the c2's. at least c8's. from what i remember, our machine shop did a head with the c8r's for the revup and had to take a little bit of casting out of the head so the lobes would have a decent amount of clearence.

which is correct, but both set of cams do the same amount of lift and also duration. one cam is for the non revup and the other cam is for the revup. that is the reason why i posted.
