I have a PE oil pan and it's suppose to allow u to pour in 6 quarts of oil into the motor but in the past I was only able to fill 5 quarts before I reached the mark on the dip stick. Am I suppose to blindly fill 6 quarts of oil every time I change my oil regardless of the mark or am I just reading the dip stick wrong?

 

I get pretty close to 6 with my JWT spacer.

The real magic trick is when you only get 3 out of the car.

 

I would not go past the dipstick level.
