Default Greddy TT, Stock Block, 8.5PSI DYNO - Video!

Some faired REALLY well, and some maybe it was a heartbreaker. This was on a AWD Mustang Dyno, in Ottawa Ontario Canada.

I made 356whp and 369tq @8.5PSI AFR 11.3WOT and 4th Gear. I was hoping for more, but after seeing some cars make less than expected, and some make MORE than expected I didnt know what to expect LOL

The RPM on the print out seems to be off, we went all the way to redline 6800+

Thoughts? Comments? Anything more I can do?

Greddy TT, K&N Filters, 5/16" Spacer, FI Resonated Test Pipes, HKS True Dual Exhaust.

I'm thinking bigger DP and Exhaust might help? My goal was to see atleast 400, but every dyno is different.

UTEC, street tuned by a local member, we have no close tuners to us so it's DIY.

best bet would be rent dyno time. you cant really optimize timing without a dyno to see actual gains and losses.

but i'd be happy with where its at now. nice safe #'s

Ya my buddy said he dyno'd in 5th Gear too, I didn't think that was right, we did 3rd, it was 337, then 4th gave these results, maybe 5th would have given better results...

I'm not trying to set records, the car is fun as hell, I just wanna drive the **** out of it safely lol

Why did you only rev the car to 58xx RPM? From the looks of the graph it seems that it would have made more power if you spun the car higher.

I think with the Evo TT, on a dynojet, 5th gear you will see 400 ..

take it to a dynojet. if your rpms are all messed up who knows what else is wrong with that chart. No sense tryin to figure it out when it obviously has problems

nope, exhaust is also "quite" good for FI imo, because its true dual. so the car is wrong dynoed. please put it for us to another dyno!

what was the smoothing for that dyno run? that torque kinda takes a big nose dive.

thats not that big of a drop, the scale makes it look worse.

look at most of the shop build threads. they lose way more than 30 ft-pounds by the end of the pull

thats also assuming that the rpm scale is wrong, like the OP suggests.

Can't remember exactly my numbers on a the Mustang, but it was in the same area. Like 36Xwhp I think. On a DJ at the same boost I made 416whp.
