Default TT Wastegate vacuum hose routing?

Alright I'm gonna change the topic on this one cuz i dont feel like makin a new thread. Anyways, i have the greddy twins and on each wastegate there are 2 hose fittings. One on the head and one on the side. I know one must go to the manifold and the other probably goes to the BOV. am i correct?

Lets say that is the case, can i T both the wastegates together into one line and then to the manifold or do they need their own spot on the manifold. Can someone help me out please.

+1. as long as you assemble the brass jungle gym so that each turbo has a feed and there's a spot for the sending unit, you are good. I do like the second picture better though, but both will work.

ya thats what i figured but wouldnt the oil pressure read alot lower since theres less pressure at the end. Or should i put one T and then the sensor and then the oil feed lines. I just want the reading to be somewhat right.

No, the BOV goes to the plenum and the wastegates depends on how you're trying to run them.

Are you running it off the spring on with a boost controller?

Oh ok, i think i got it. According to this diagram below, im supposed to leave the top ports open into the atmosphere and the side ports, i can T into one and to the manifold.

http://www.tialsport.com/documents/w..._wginstall.pdf

oh and also, since we only have one vacuum port on the manifold, can we use that and split it between both wastegates and the bov?

yes on the splitter Y for the WG's.. I have my BOV on a different vacuum port.. closer to the driver side.

the top nipples on the WG's are for a BC

Were you at Uconn?? I didn't see your car there. I saw a bunch of Z's and G's parked though

ya i was. i always all the way in the end of the z/g line. Silver with rims/red lips.

ok so Y the wastegates together. Can i bring the waste lines to this hose on the side of the manifold? And then i can have the BOV come to the little port infront of the manifold.

use a vacuum block off the port on the front of the plenum. do not use your brake booster line

well you can drill and tap your plenum.

or you can just use a bunch of the plastic T's you can buy at auto zone.

your choice. all will work fine. just depends how much pride you take in your work.

I have a few plastic T's in my lines. Used em to split the WG lines. You can get a box of em from Autozone for like 9 bucks. They also have reducer ones and couplers

I didn't know who was who at the Uconn show. I got there late. Had the top secret G built motor TT with maroon GTC volks. Left early too.

HOWEVER, is there something i can put around the thread so permanantly fix the thing so theres no leaks or anything. Can i JB weld inside the manifold?

Permatex Makes a whole bunch of thread sealants that will work for that.

ya i mean i can used thread locks and such but how well is it gonna hold up when you put 15lbs of pressure on that. i dont want the threads to just rip out. i would weld it in but that aluminum is way to soft.
