I have a revup kit with a 3.12 pulley. THe cog belt just snapped. I ordered another one but it was too long and found out it's for a non-revup. I have the revup vortech. What is the length or part number and where can I get this? thanks guys

 

revup and non-rev use the same cog belt. the part # is a thread on the FI section. it was just bumped today.

 

Really? I tried putting it on, and it had too much slack even with the tensioner all the way down. It seems too long?

 

ya its Gates 600-8MGT-20 cog belt

they are supposed to be loose -ish.

 

Actually- GTM lists two belts. One for the RevUp, one for the NonRevUp
600-8MGT-20 75teeth Non
560-8MGT-20 70teeth Rev

Both are available at Motionindustries.com Just look up a local shop and have them order it for you. Mine got here in a day.

Nope, remember all the trouble i went through when i converted my revup cog setup to a non revup. belive me i am well versed on the belts sizes. it was worth it though, boost comes in alot quicker now on my revup.

 

You need any other belts while I'm searching/ordering?

 

Can you link me to your cog setup posts? I have a revup and I'm interested in doing something similar...how much more boost did you get? And which belt did you use for the revup with non-revup cogs setup?

 

i recieved the belt for non revup because I got the cog belt number off the forum. No one listed the revup belt part number. I guess I am the first to snap the revup cog belt. LOL. I gotta send it back and get a new one
