You clowning me bish?? My car doesn't handle all that bad with the BFG DRs on the back. Transitions aren't fantastic, but you don't have a lot of that on the street. The lateral grip is fantastic, it just doesn't turn in as fantastically quick.

That all said, I will be switching to normal street tires as soon as this set of DRs wear out. I'm sick of buying a new set of rear tires every 4-5000 miles and being hassled by cops about "bald tires".

Depends on the car. In the Z I'd be happy with 500-550 depending on if you have 3.3 or 3.5 FD and the correct tires.

i agree 500 rwhp give or take a few is perfect is fast, fun, and you can run hard compound tires that last longer then your usual DR's.

I switched to DR's on the 18's too. they aren't too bad (I thought they'd be worse).

There is no traction at turn-in, but once the tire "leans" you can put quite a bit of power down in the corner.

No doubt there is no way I'd keep up in the twisties on these tires at all, but they work well for this season. Maybe KDW2's next year, or Toyo R888's...we'll see.
