hahaha! cat covers.

did you fail visual or an actual sniffer? I assume visual bc you wanna just make your down pipes looks like cats.

but no way in hell any inspector will let some cover slide.

good luck

Go for it, I've heard of it working... I heard its a PITA to get the heatshields not to rattle like a **** though.
Problem is, your already in the sytem for failing. It might have worked before you failed. Do you have a temp now?

phen...let me know what you end up going with and what eventually passes you. although i know plenty of people do pass...somehow...w/o cats or fakes, i'm sort of worried about the same thing. enough that if the smell/soot bothers me enough, i might consider high flow cats at some point. my car is still in the shop though, so it's a while before i have to get it inspected. i'll be interested to see what works for you. i'm in a different state, but similar inspect. just visual. maybe find a...friendly shop?

SICK car btw. i saw it in person when it was sitting on the dyno...R888's, i believe? really nice job. i'd love to see it on the road or track sometime.

gotta love the cheap *** florida law makers disbanding the emissions program in 1985.

Our emissions program is basically sign here X________________ . I promise not to remove my cats from my car.

Replace a stock one for emission test. If you don't have look for used one in market place, that will be much easier than look for cover.

Edit: or you should try other place as well. I went to one place in town and they failed mine ( SC? failed?, they said because i don't have a stock air box.....) And i found a place that little far away from town, which looks not that bz...and got me sticker ) Btw, i'm running HFC.

Maaan, you in TN? When I live there in Knoxville a few years back they didn't have inspections. See sig. I heard Chatanooga started a few years ago, didn't think it would go state wide.
