A little help...
I would check the fuel pump fuse and battery voltage. If those are both ok, then it'd be the fuel pump that's gone. You're not low on gas are you? Running low on fuel can kill the pump quickly from overheating. Might want to bring a gallon of fuel back to your car just in case your fuel level gauge is not reading right.
noob questions--Where is the fuel pump fuse? Is it where the other fuses are located? I can check battery voltage with cipher or CAMP2.
My fuel guage is reading 3/4 full and I haven't driven much since the last time I filled up. Is there another way to check how much fuel is in there besides the guage? I guess it can't hurt to go get a gallon of fuel or so, put it in, and try again, but I would be surprised if it is low on fuel unless there is a leak somewhere?
I guess I find it strange that I would have this fuel problem a week after the car drove fine--it just sat in my driveway for a week--I guess things can just go wrong/mechanically fail randomly
The only other factor that changed between last week when it drove fine and now is an increase is temperature--from ~65f to ~90f.
nah, temperature wouldnt cause you to have no fuel pressure.
In your shoes, i'd hope it was the pump that went. If its a blown fuse, that could mean a ton of work tracing why it shorted. I'd be very concerned about a fuel pump short.

eek, I hate to ask what possibilities could cause a blown fuel pump fuse. My tuner thinks it is unlikely the the fuse blew and thinks it is likely the fuel pump that went bad, but won't know for sure, until he has a chance to look at it.
It def sounds like the fuel pump went south. Here is what i would do (i can hear my fuel pump easily) turn the ignition on and listen for the loud humming noise that the walbro should make.If you hear it that means the fuel pump is getting current if you do not the fuse or the pump is done.
If you do hear the pump humming and you are still showing very low fuel pressure the the pump has died.

So if it is the fuel pump, replacing it with a new one should hopefully solve the problem?
The fuel system is what comes with the GTM stage 5 HKS SC kit. I believe it is a CJM return system. The fuel pressure regulator is a turbosmart unit with a HKS camp2 sensor in place of the analog one.
when it primes, you will only hear it for a second.
I would try to find a different fuel pressure gauge. You might be able to rent one from Autozone. Otherwise, any local car shop could check it for you.
Sounds like you can hear the pump prime. Could be a valve in the regulator crapped out. Have you tried to increase the fuel pressure with the regulator?

Since it is CJM, you can also try pm'ing "Phunk" on this forum. He designed that system.
I added a few more gallons with a portable gas can, but still wouldn't start with very low fuel pressure. Fuel pump fuse checked out ok. The Walbro fuel pump was then swapped out in my driveway, but it did not work. After the swap, the CAMP2 shows fuel pressure of "0" when engine was primed and when cranking, the fuel guage was dropping to empty and back up again to 1/2 tank.
The car will be towed to the shop tomorrow morning.
