you should take the time to read through these carefully before you give him one dime.

doug is cool with him, some are not. I, for one, am not (so make me number two on that list)...but come to your own conclusions...these threads make it easy. If you need more info you can PM me.

OP just to give you another option if you are willing to drive to AAM (Clint is a very nice guy), just a bit farther and you can get here as well:

FUNCTION:TUNED

Good Luck with your future projects

OP he and Julian have bad blood and he has been on a mission to tell the world that EVERYONE has a problem with Julian.. when in fact in the 300+ customers who have been to MRC he is the only ONE who has had a problem

My aps single turbo was all done by Julian...never had any problems at all...everytime I've called with my barrage of stupid questions he was very professional. I haven't heard of anyone on here thats had catastrophic problems...Maybe just don't come off as a dick with him and you'll get treated with respect also. Most of the mudslinging here with him was with people not even from the tristate area. But thats all water under the bridge...as far as his work he knows what hes doing...

+1 AAM. Only shop in mid-A I have done FI business with and they took care of me every step of the way. There are other decent shops in mid-A but having no FI experience with them I am not going to start name dropping.

that's a flat out lie and you know it. No one wants to tell their experiences due to threats of lawsuits. I guess he never threatened you with a couple, you are lucky.

OP has all the tools he needs in this thread to find the right shop.

i'll be #3
most of the negative julian threads have been deleted, that doesn't mean they never existed.last i heard he was at atx showing off his awsome automotive skills...guess he wore out that welcome also.(talking a good game and producing are two totally different things)

doug, since i've been here i have been in agreement with you on just about everything with the exception of poo fingers.i applaude your unwavering friendship with julian, but i think you just might be his last nuthugger.considering i haven't seen a flood of "j is great" posts in this thread,i'll assume this to be the case.

he was such poison most won't mention his name,it brings up painful images of temper tantrums and poo

To the OP - as someone who has seen a ton of shops come, and go, come, and go, relocate, come and go, here is the best advice I can give you:

Gather a list of the area shops. Don't call them - research them online first, then setup a time to visit them. Talk not only to the owner of the shop, but the tech(s) who would be working on the car. Ask questions, and go with whomever YOU are most comfortable with. There is no shop in the area that doesn't have a gaggle of nutswingers, and as a result, a gaggle of haters
