doug, since i've been here i have been in agreement with you on just about everything with the exception of poo fingers.i applaude your unwavering friendship with julian, but i think you just might be his last nuthugger.considering i haven't seen a flood of "j is great" posts in this thread,i'll assume this to be the case.

he was such poison most won't mention his name,it brings up painful images of temper tantrums and poo
from what i understand you wern't an MRC Customer.. you do your own work.. so that can't make you number 3..

again i am not a Julian Nuthugger.. ask Rome.. i just tell it like it is.. the guy did good work.. despite his online personality.. and i will continue to let people know that.. apart from this dude.. i don't know any other MRC Customers who have publicly stepped up and said Julian did a sh!tty job on their car

i feel ya,but julian didn't do that work......like xkr said "talk to the techs".matt did that work that people are so happy with.j doesn't even have a tool box let alone the skills to build, modify or install parts.as we have discussed before,we have a very different point of view with regards to his tuning experience.......i really wanted to be number three.

btwy wouldn't rome be one of julians dissatisfied customers?

matt did all the wrenching.. julian did all the tuning.. alot of MRC's customers only got their cars tuned.. they didn't necessarily get manual labor done.. so yes he did have a substantial amount of customers he personally worked with

With what doug has said, I do not remember as well, any customers complaining about Julian's work on their car, just his internet attitude. When speaking with him he was very professional and courteous to my questions.

**And for the record i never went to MRC. Nuthugger i am not**

well he decided... everyone can go home happy now /thread

BTW OP.. there was good and bad about Julian.. good about his work... bad about his online personality.. so unless you were looking to become his friend online i am not sure how the bad outweighed the good

Matt is very good.. he was one half of the dynamic duo that made the majority of MRC Customers happy..

sweeeeeeeeeet.. thats good you got a hold of Jermaine.. is he coming up to see you? or do you have to go down to MD .. and tell him to stop by the forums every now and then.. he hasn't posted in forever

edit: since Ed is doing the work on your car.. since he needed his tuned too.. you guys should have Jermaine tune both of them at the same time

he will tune whatever you put him in front of, but his obvious specialty is the UTEC, since he works at Turbo XS, and was one of the developers of the product

It depends on your budget - a typical utec customer is not a typical haltech customer, as one is more than double the price of the other.

The Haltech has alot more features (cam timing, ability to convert to MAP), dual channe wideband possibility- whether your setup needs those features or not becomes the most important question, more adjustment points

That being said, the UTEC is a great value/dollar unit, so it will ultimately come down to your proposed setup, and your budget, and the preference of your tuner
