Lightbulb hks ssqv bov install on a greddy tt kit

ima noob to forced induction.

i have a black 06 nissan 350z with a "bolt-on" greddy twin turbo kit. i ordered the hks ssqv blow off w/flange. i have a basic concept of where i want to have the flange welded and where to locate the hks bov. the problem is if i have enough room because of the MAF and the strut bar. im afraid if i weld and install to high i cant shut my hood. where would be another area to install a BOV? im also not to sure where to run the vaccum lines. could some one school me and point me to the right direction?

one love

You can run your vaccum line from the plenum.. or from the TB

You can mount low off the charge pipe.

i mounted mine on the underside of the intake pipe between the tb and maf. sucks you cant really see it, but its placement is good for response, and no worries of clearance problems

Aren't you supposed to put the BOV before the MAF? I though putting it after the MAF (flow wise) will cause problems with the tune.

if you are tuned using a Haltech or something that's 100% based on MAP, doesnt matter where the BOV is.

If your looking at the car from the front, mine is mounted to the right of the intercooler on the charge pipe down low infront of the driver side wheel closest to the bumper.

If you want to be able to see it, then up by the plenum is going to be a better idea.
