Chef-J, best of luck man. Hadn't heard from you in a little while, I knew you had to be up to something. Sorry to hear the numbers are so low... Why would an injector just give up right now when they switch to reflash? We made significantly more power than that back on your big pulley with no meth on the same injectors and they performed quite well. I am curious to hear what they find - hope you get it straightened out soon. If you need anything let me know.

Thanks hal I sent you an email while ago after sent my car to uprev. Just got little busy things in my life, oh I had chance to get close to KY last week, was going to stop by over there but couldn't make it lol

Humm about injectors, so far I haven't hear clear an answer that it is the problem yet.
I don't know if RFS is gives problem or what. I'm sure jared will touch with you if it turns around injectors problem.
320whp is way too low compare to what we put down on your dyno with 3.12, I'm pretty sure uprev has dynojet too.

Well, I'm sure jared can figure it out. hopefully its simple fix tho.

+1 UNLESS Uprev has compensated for this knock protection with some update, it is scary to have it as the only only big brother on-board.
Going haltech/osiris in future for sure, but my budget won't allow me this moment.. However let's not turn this thread to uprev and utec.

Yep, they received new injectors last end of week. My car was on dyno today with new injectors installed, but still same. Not making enough power, and running lean. Jared is working on it. It could be plugs gap or coil or fuel system or, many things could be. Just hoping that not major issue tho.

Im looking at use uprev for tuning for a vortech build. Do you think your problems my be to do with the uprev vs. going for a haltech unit??

Chef, do you still have your Haltech EMS?

How hard would it be for them to switch back to the Haltech unit and try again?

I never had haltech...I had the utec. Lol

Djtimodj,
I wouldn't say this issue cause by osiris. It sounds more like mechanic issue.

Chef-J, did it run going in there? I know it wasn't that long before it was making power without going lean, and then you switched ems to reflash and this started?

Yea, pretty much. But also we added RFS and removed the injection kit.

Do you have a fuel pressure gauge on the regulator, and is it steady (high 30s at idle, increasing 1psi per psi of boost) or does fuel pressure drop when the car leans out? If it is steady (increasing with boost) then the fuel system is not the issue. Removing meth injection won't have anything to do with it as we tuned your car with and without.

Have you tried plugging the utec back in to verify that the reflash tune is not the problem?

Thanks for advice hal. But jared just called me and we found an answer. He said my hfc drive side was bust so not allow let the air out on driver side.

Guess my hfc gave up with couple tuned times.

Guess my hfc finally gave up...

The only cat you should have in your car is the one that sits in the passenger seat

VERY glad your issue was located Chef. Now get back to enjoying your car.
